The Tectus 540 3D Full Kit Hinge Template is used to create mortise cuts on doors and jambs. This template kit comes with extension bars and 3 hinge templates to accomodate doors from 6'8" to 7'6". Using this kit saves time and increases productivy when working on multiple installations.
The Tectus 540 3D hinge template can be configured to create both shallow and deep pockets as well as interior and exterior sides of jambs or doors. The configurable hinge template easily accomodates length and width sizes by simply adjusting the guides according to your needs. It is a precision instrument that saves time, eliminates costly errors and provides a professional quality job. This template works on 1¾” and 2¼” thick doors.
This unique template is made from 3/4″ Russian Baltic Birch Plywood 18mmV2SSMG 13 ply.
6/32 machine screws on the hinge guides are held by a metal insert into the wood base.
Use template guide 17/32 I.D by 5/8 and ½ router bit.
